Born 2007 out of the depleting industrial settlement of Ebbw Vale, South Wales, UK. Formed by 5 friends, all with individual influences. The songs are the sound of pain, regret, disappointment and the fear of what the future will bring us, all performed with hope and exhilaration.
FoBD have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many great Metal Acts such as Onslaught, Panic Cell, Trigger the Bloodshed, Beholder, Ted Maul, The Defiled, Sacred Mother Tongue, Anterior_band, Warlord UK and Revoker.
In 2008/2009 the band put together their first E.P., Bring Out Your Dead, at Skwad HQ in Pontypridd. The EP was recorded and engineered by Todd Campbell. It was Self-Released on May 2010.
In August 2010, FoBD announced their signing to London-based Metal Label, Brutal Elite Records. Album Recording will begin December 2010 at Philia Studios with acclaimed Producer/Engineer Nick Hemingway.
The band have received a lot of positive reviews from the UK music press including Kerrang, Terrorizer and Powerplay.
"Pitching their sound somewhere between dark, aggravated metalcore and good, old-fashioned moshpit anthems, the quintet has much to offer; there mud thick guitar riffs as well as solos, proper singing as well as guttural howls, and a convincing amount of malcontent and scorn. 3/5 K's" - Mark Griffiths, Kerrang (Jul 21, 2010)
"Fell on Black Days' sound is a riff-led bruising, touching on mighty moments of mastodonic thunder." - Joe Denker, Terrorizer (August 2010
"Again the highlight is the musical ability of the band and the more than capable ways that they set out to be definitively thrash in their metal attitude. It is clear that Fell On Black Days are true believers in the mosh pit and that they to make their live gigs a collection of rampantly head-banging cyclones. " - Darren Douglas - www.live-music-scene.co.uk
"With a fistful of brutal live performances and this incendiary EP ready to blow minds and speakers, Fell On Black Days have to be considered genuine contenders, ready to punch their way out of the desolation that, ultimately, shaped them. Ones to watch…..from a safe distance." - Gaz E., Uberrock.co.uk (Aug 09, 2010)
